About Us

BARAMON Creative Agency is more than a film company: it is a cultural bridge. Based in Paris as part of BARAMON International Holding, we merge sociological insight with cinematic craftsmanship to create stories that resonate across Europe and Asia. Our work spans full-cycle production, location services, distribution, and brand integration, operating at the crossroads of art and commerce. From documentaries and narrative features to branded content and multimedia experiences, our mission is to produce works that inspire curiosity, foster empathy, and reflect the layered identities of our founders.
We provide a complete ecosystem for storytellers, guiding projects from concept to delivery. Our production process begins with sociological research and script development, extending through financing, casting, cinematography, editing, and post-production. Each project benefits from a rigorous development approach designed to balance artistic integrity with commercial viability. In addition, we offer comprehensive location and fixer services across Japan, France, and wider Europe: securing permits, recruiting crews, and sourcing equipment. In Japan, we leverage the Japan Film Commission and its 120 regional partners to access unique filming sites, logistical support, and government incentives.
Beyond production, distribution and rights management form a cornerstone of our services. We design release strategies, negotiate with broadcasters, streaming platforms, and festival programmers, and manage the contractual and financial aspects of distribution. Brand integration complements this process, aligning premium products with cinematic storytelling in ways that respect editorial independence and adhere to the high standards of public broadcasters. Through this holistic approach, BARAMON enables storytellers, broadcasters, and brands to engage audiences with both authenticity and reach.
Founded in 2023, BARAMON Creative Agency emerged as the production arm of BARAMON International Holding to illuminate social issues and celebrate cultural diversity. Our creative philosophy draws from the Japanese concept mono no aware (an appreciation of impermanence) combined with the European humanist tradition of storytelling. This synthesis allows us to craft narratives that transcend linguistic and geographic borders, whether in the form of feature films, documentaries, or branded projects. Every production is guided by the belief that storytelling is not just entertainment but a means to deepen understanding and strengthen cultural dialogue.
Our ethos rests on three pillars: artistic integrity, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. We prioritize story and character over spectacle, ensuring our works remain intellectually stimulating and visually compelling. Our multinational team approaches each subject with nuance and respect, bringing cultural fluency to every production. Partnerships with global broadcasters such as NHK, NBC, and France Télévisions, as well as NGOs, academic institutions, and brands, fuel our growth and amplify unheard voices. The name “BARAMON,” derived from the Sanskrit “Brahmin,” symbolizes stewardship of knowledge and reflects the Franco-Japanese heritage of our founders. Through our work, we aim to connect traditions and innovations, nurture inclusive cultural growth, and position creativity as a driving force for sustainable development.
